ART THERAPEUTIC METHODS OF CORRECTION OF INFANTILE AUTISM
Abstracts

Introduction. The article substantiates the relevance of the problem of artpedagogics in the field of correction of children's autism; provides an overview of the main ideas of researchers on the problem of children's autism; discusses art therapeutic methods used in correctional work with children. The purpose of the article is to substantiate and reveal the effectiveness of art therapeutic methods of correction of child- ren's autism, contributing to self-identification, adaptation, socialization, creative expression and self-realization of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

 

Materials and methods. The main methods of research are the analysis of scientific literature on the study of the features of the development of autistic children; as well as art therapeutic methods of correction of children's autism.

Results. The author identifies and describes effective art therapeutic methods of correctional work, which have socializing, psychoprophylactic and compensating focus, which can be promising in a comprehensive implementation in correctional and developmental and compensating education of children in preschool educational institutions or home education.

Discussion. The article focuses on the art-therapeutic possibilities of art as a means of correction and psychological support of children with problems of socialization, cognitive processes and psychological stability.

Conclusion. It is concluded that the implementation of art therapeutic methods will contribute to the adaptation, social communication, creative self-expression of children with autism spectrum disorders.
